Overview
How TWINJAM works with Linear
Product-minded agencies like Linear because it is fast, and that speed is also how scope slips in. A client request becomes an issue in seconds, gets pulled into the current cycle, and ships before anyone checks it against the SOW. TWINJAM connects to your Linear workspace with read-only OAuth and maps each issue in your client teams to a milestone or deliverable from the contract.
Issues that do not map are flagged as Scope Drift with an explanation, the nearest clause, and an hour range based on the estimate and your historical velocity for similar work. Cycle reports show contracted versus uncontracted points, so you can see whether a cycle that looks on track is actually being spent on work the client never paid for.
Linear projects often map neatly to SOW milestones, and TWINJAM proposes that mapping automatically after it parses the contract. You confirm it once, and from then on new issues inherit the project's milestone unless their content suggests otherwise.
In practice
Dark mode, five points at a time
A client asks for dark mode and a designer files it as a 5-point issue in Cycle 9. TWINJAM cites clause 4.1, which contracts a single light theme, and shows the cycle's uncontracted share at 18%. The PM converts it into a change order before the cycle closes.
The payload on the right is the event TWINJAM emits to your triage feed and to outbound webhooks, so you can route it into your own reporting.

Setup
Connect Linear in about 3 minutes.
An admin connects once. PMs never need to re-authenticate, and you can revoke access from TWINJAM or the vendor's admin console at any time.
- 1Choose Connect Linear and authorize TWINJAM for your workspace.
- 2Pick the Linear teams that hold client work and assign each to a contract workspace.
- 3Confirm the project-to-milestone mapping proposed from the parsed SOW.
- 4Run the first audit on open issues and the current cycle.
FAQ
Linear integration questions
Issue title, description, estimate, labels, project and cycle. Team and project structure for client teams you connect. Issue comments. It never reads: teams that are not mapped to a client contract; private issues outside connected teams; personal views, notifications or inbox items.
Nothing by default. Optional: an internal comment on flagged issues. Every action that could reach a client requires a PM to approve it first.
Agency and Scale plans: Agency ($899/mo billed annually), Scale (from $1,800/mo billed annually). Every plan starts with a 14-day free production trial.
