TWINJAM

SOW Parser, contract boundary extractor

Turn 30-page PDF contracts into living deliverable boundaries in seconds.

Upload a signed SOW or MSA. TWINJAM extracts deliverables, exclusions, revision caps and client dependencies, then flags the vague phrases most likely to start a dispute.

< 45 sec to parse a 25-page custom SOW into boundary rules (TWINJAM product telemetry).

What it finds

Three things every SOW review misses at 11pm before kickoff.

01

Ambiguity Highlighter

Flags vague phrases like "reasonable revisions", "standard integrations" or "best-effort performance" that read one way to your team and another way to the client. Each one gets a dispute-risk rating and a tighter rewrite you can carry into the next SOW.

  • Ranked by how often similar wording led to flags in onboarding audits
  • Rewrites keep your template's tone and numbering

  • "reasonable revisions"§ 5.1High dispute risk
  • "standard integrations"§ 2.3High dispute risk
  • "best-effort performance"§ 6.1Medium dispute risk
  • "minor content updates"§ 8.2Medium dispute risk

02

Exclusion Clause Builder

Compares your exclusions with the exclusions agencies typically need for that kind of engagement: data migration, third-party license fees, legacy browser support, app store setup, hosting after launch. Missing ones are listed before signature, not after the first request.

03

Assumption Mapper

Indexes every client dependency, such as "Client to provide staging API credentials by Day 5", and tracks it against real dates. When a client misses a dependency, the PM has the clause and the date ready for a timeline or budget conversation.

  • Due dates computed from kickoff and sprint calendars
  • Late dependencies surface in the PM triage feed

Under the hood

How a contract becomes boundary rules.

Six stages, one human checkpoint. The PM review step is deliberate: TWINJAM proposes, your delivery lead decides what the contract means.

  1. 01IntakePDF, Word or scanned SOW, MSA schedules and amendments. Encrypted with AES-256 on arrival.Upload or Drive
  2. 02Layout & OCRReads columns, tables, headers and numbering so clause references survive extraction.Structure
  3. 03Clause segmentationSplits the document into numbered clauses and links cross-references such as "per Appendix B".214 clauses
  4. 04Boundary classifierLabels each clause: deliverable, exclusion, revision cap, acceptance criterion, assumption, or ambiguous.6 labels
  5. 05Rule compilerTurns labels into machine-checkable rules with milestones, caps, due dates and the source clause.Boundary rules
  6. 06PM reviewA delivery lead confirms or edits each rule. Nothing is monitored until the PM publishes the baseline.Human sign-off

Before signature

Run the parser on a draft SOW to find missing exclusions and vague wording while it is still cheap to fix.

At kickoff

Publish the baseline so monitoring, revision counting and assumption tracking start on Day 1.

On every amendment

Upload signed change orders and amendments. The baseline updates clause by clause with full history.

FAQ

Questions PMs and founders ask

Native and scanned PDF, Word (.docx) and Google Docs exported from a Drive contract folder. Tables, numbered clauses and appendices are preserved, so flags can cite clause 3.2 or Appendix B rather than a page number.

Every extracted rule carries its source clause and a confidence score, and nothing goes live until a PM reviews and publishes the baseline. Typical review on a 25-page SOW takes 10 to 15 minutes. Corrections are remembered for that contract and for future SOWs that reuse your template.

Yes. Each contract workspace holds a stack: the MSA, the active SOW, and every signed amendment or change order. Later documents override earlier ones clause by clause, and the baseline shows which document each rule came from.

No. TWINJAM parses contracts for operational scope tracking. It highlights ambiguity and missing exclusions so your team can tighten language, but formal MSAs should still be reviewed by qualified legal counsel.
